My stay at the hotel was delightful overall. The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and the staff was extremely polite and helpful. However, there was a slight hiccup with a manager at breakfast. The location was perfect for exploring Glasgow, and the dining options were varied and satisfying.

The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and had a lovely bottle of bubbly waiting for us. Perfect for both work and relaxation. The washbasin added a nice touch.

8.2/10

The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a stunning view over rooftops, but it did not completely meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel considering the price paid. The service is excellent, especially the polite and helpful staff. The location is convenient for exploring the city and the west end, although some organizational improvements are needed. The dining experience is good, with the breakfast spread being re-filled regularly.

6.4/10

The hotel is located slightly away from the busy Buchanan St in the west end, offering decent-sized rooms with separate toilet and shower areas. Although the rooms accommodated my request to try different options, they were not as clean as expected. Noise from cars could be heard at night but was manageable with closed windows.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious with a separate toilet from the shower room and decent in size, but cleanliness, especially in the toilets, was lacking.
Service
5.0
The service was unsatisfactory with morning disturbances like banging on the door at Novotel. Staff were not helpful during my stay.
Location
6.0
The location, while central but off the busiest roads, better suits business travelers. It was convenient for walking to Ovo Hydro for a gig and had easy access to restaurants.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience exceeded expectations with a nice variety of dishes at reasonable prices. However, the buffet could have been slightly better.

The hotel had some positives like the lovely and attentive service and its fabulous location with plenty of dining options nearby. However, the rooms were a bit warmer than desired and smaller than expected. The dining experience was great with a variety of choices, but some found it to be a bit pricey.

Rooms

The rooms were smaller than expected and a bit warm, despite adjusting the thermostat. However, they were specifically designed for disabled individuals with a higher stool and lower washbowl, plus they had en-suite showers.

My stay at the hotel was fine, not exactly a romantic getaway or a luxurious experience, but simply functional accommodation. The room was very basic and looked nothing like the pictures, with noticeable stains on the carpet. Although clean, I couldn't overlook some bloodstains.

9.0/10

My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The rooms were exquisite, with a fabulous coffee machine and a comfy bed adorned with nice toiletries. I was pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to an executive room, where a bottle of bubbly and a thoughtful card awaited, along with vouchers for a drink at the bar. However, I did miss having a refrigerator in the room, especially since I experienced this feature in a cheaper room in the same hotel a day before.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms were luxurious and well-appointed, with thoughtful amenities and a beautiful decor.
Service
10.0
The service at the hotel was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, even surprising me with cake and wine for my anniversary. They were incredibly friendly and provided great recommendations for exploring the city during my short work trip.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is ideal, offering a clean and comfortable room with lovely big towels and a nice bathroom. While slightly tucked away from the main city center, it was still conveniently walkable to Central Station in about 12 minutes. I wish my room had been closer to the front or side instead of the back, but overall, the facilities were fantastic for getting to venues and exploring the city.
Dining

The dining experience at the hotel was superb. They catered well to my coeliac condition and offered a wide variety of delicious dishes for breakfast. The quality of the food was impressive, and it provided a perfect start to my day of exploring Glasgow.
